About Us - 2014 onwards

Feb 2014 to July 2017

The Committee has been ongoing and active during this period and has had meetings with 10 of the top Australian developers as well as engaged Consultants to prepare a preliminary Infrastructure Report and a Business Plan (Planning Submisson) Proposal for the entire North Glenhaven Rural lands Precinct.  These Reports were necessary as they formed the basis upon which we could approach Developers to show that we were genuine and that the rezoning is viable.

Follow-up meetings were held with several of the above Developers and pro-forma Documents were received concerning possible terms of sale and options agreements.  The Committee has devoted considerable time and funds over the time period to pursue and develop the best outcome for rezoning the North Glenhaven Rural Lands.  This has been on a non-remuneration (gratis) basis and the Committee members and a few Members have made special voluntary contributions to assist in the considerable costs associated with obtaining required Professional Reports & Plans (eg 11 Committee/Members generously contributing $2,000 each in 2016).

17 July 2017  - Meeting held for Members and Glenhaven landowners for a Developer to present Rezoning and Purchase offer to rezone North Glenhaven rural lands.

21 July 2017 to date - Gathering consensus of Members/Landowners for presentation to Developer regarding its Proposal/Offer.
